Writing a tribute

A tribute has a shape, and once you know the shape you can fill it in a piece at a time. The writer asks one plain question at a time and assembles a draft you can edit.

1. Go to Write a tribute in the footer of any page.
2. Answer as much or as little as you like — every question can be skipped.
3. Copy the draft, or download it, and change any of it. The words stay yours.
